The Beach at Nags Head, North Carolina. . In the days before lighthouses, a horse with a lantern hanging from his head would warn mariners from the treacherous coast. Hence the name, Nag’s Head. This shot taken last fall with a Nikon D90 and a 10mm lens. More pictures of the North Carolina Coast are on my website.
